YES! We carry a 2M General Liability & Liquor Policy. We add every event to it. All of our bartending staff is insured as well. If your venue requires they be added as a certificate holder, we can do that as well for no additional cost!
Of course! We will even help you come up with a menu, provide you a detailed shopping list, and let you in on our shopping/purchasing secrets!
Generally, no. In order to ensure guests are having a great time and the party stays under control, shots are not served. Also, most venues do not allow shots. However, there is one exception- client owned property. If you're hosting an event on your own private property, we can chat about safely offering shots at your event!
We allow self service when guests have single service displays such as champagne walls. They are only filled one time and all refills must be poured by our bartenders. Outside of these scenarios, there is absolutely no self-service permitted. No beer tubs set out, pouring of own liquor, taking of multiple unopened cans of alcohol or mixed drinks. This protects us, the venue and the host of the party. Dayton Bartending Co and our employees are responsible for all alcohol served once on the premise. It ensures your guests are not over-served and no underage guests are served.
We totally understand not wanting your guests to feel pressured to tip at your event so we have a solution for that! Although we pride ourselves in paying our hardworking employees a fair wage, they are still service industry workers and rely on tips! We have a "Prepaid Tip Jar" that starts at $40/bartender/service hour. If this service is not listed and prepaid on your final invoice, a tip jar will be set out at the event. Additional gratuity is always appreciated but never required.
We have two tiers! If you're looking for a relaxed vibe- we have DBC branded t-shirts with black pants or shorts (weather permitting) and if you're looking for a more formal/upscale vibe-we have DBC branded polos/button-downs and cardigans (weather permitting) with black pants! All tiers are required to wear close toe shoes with well groomed hair, nails and makeup.
Our deposit is non-refundable, but transferrable if we're available. We understand things come up and we try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible when dates have to change!
Cash bars are not permitted without a liquor license. Temporary liquor permits are available for certain events. If you believe your event may be eligible for a temporary liquor permit, please email us at booking@daytonbartendingco.com and we can walk you through the process and how we can help!
We don't have any travel fees for venues up to 1.5 hours from Springboro, Oh.
Weddings-Depending on your venue, proximity from reception to ceremony, we recommend a minimum of one hour. If your reception and ceremony are on the same property, we recommend a minimum of 1.5 hours. We can help you determine the amount of time needed at booking!
We include cocktail straws, beverage napkins, all bar tools, a bar closed sign, one large or medium cool (depending on event size), a clean ice cooler/scoop and insurance.
We ask that you bring a minimum of one medium to large size cooler to help with clean up! We can transfer any left over canned items to your personal cooler for easy transport home!
If you are providing your own product, we ask that it all be in the bar area upon arrival. If your venue has refrigerator accommodations and you'd like to throw a couple cases of each beer/seltzer or bottles of white wine in there for chilling, thats fine with us. Alcohol does not need to be cold or chilled upon arrival. Please do not pack any coolers prior to our arrival.
